Solution Architect - Java - Agile
Based in London (working from home until further notice) a Solution Architect is required on a contract basis to Work closely with analysts, solution architects, developers, SMEs and others, to capture requirements.
Candidates can work through a Limited Company for this role.
Responsibilities for this role:
- Provide technical guidance and advice to workstreams from an early stage, ensuring they follow an optimal direction from the outset.
- Ensure that architectures and designs are an appropriate balance between short-term delivery needs and medium-term strategic aspirations. All deviations from the ideal solution should be explicit and agreed through appropriate governance.
- Ensure cross-programme alignment of architectures, applications and data to provide consistency and quality across the solution.
- Build and maintain catalogues and models at appropriate levels of abstraction.
- Identify and drive the resolution or remedy of issues and risks relating to the items above.
- Propose appropriate technologies and techniques for meeting challenges in the programme.
- Present and explain architecture matters in governance and other fora where appropriate.
- Support the transition of this Scope of Services to a Third-Party Provider once appointed.
Candidates need to be an experienced Solutions Architect with experience of Java , Agile , continuous improvement and Software Development background.
