The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role. The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following:
Standard student responsibilities for an instructor, in accordance with TTF Local Operating Procedures.
Broad knowledge of RAF AGE and specific knowledge of Typhoon AGE Skills:
Experienced with Typhoon specific AGE - desirable Previous experience of course design and training delivery
o Coaching and mentoring more junior or less experienced staff, ensuring that they understand the systems and protocols associated with the work and tasks. Ensuring that their work is reviewed and approved o Delivering training to students and undertaking appropriate assessments to ensure that each student develops the skills and is able to demonstrate the ability to perform the activities and tasks required in the domain of training o Providing advice on the updating of the course syllabus within their area of expertise o Carrying out course design activity; courseware, instructional specifications and course notes so as to meet the syllabus or emerging training tasks o Updating training materials to reflect maintenance policy changes and system upgrades, in order to meet the developing or changing requirements of the customer within scope of authorised approvals o Managing and operating AGE, ensuring it is fit for the required training exerciseo Maintaining student records and providing overall governance and sign off of delivery of training and student records o Adhering to the training schedules and delivery programmes to meet the needs and requirements of the customer o Providing specialist advice and guidance to other instructors/ operators in post
